Blue Mountain

Is it fantasy? Only in the sense that it came straight out of my head, but it's indicative of what I was doing at the time. Copyright - 1984.

Watercolour and felt tip. A4 - 295mm x 210mm.

Basic colour effects done in watercolour with highlights and detail in felt tip pens. Unfortunately, some of the felt tip highlights in the rocks have since faded. I did a number of these in the early 80's.

I have done a number of these with an almost Japanese style. Producing them very quickly, taking a maximum of two hours, the made great presents for elderly relatives. Unfortunately, I've no idea where they all are no, and I've been left with this one which, if memory serves me correctly, is one of the most basic and uninspired.

It's very unlikely that I'll do anything like this again.
