Dragon Courtship

I suppose this is the natural progression from 'Dragon Mating Call'. Our male dragon has attracted a mate and courtship begins in earnest. Copyright - 1988.

This is probably my favourite of all my dragon sketches. You've no idea how relaxing drawing all those scales was.

I am rarely satisfied with my finished work. I can always find fault with something in the image. In this case, I wish I hadn't made the dragons breathing fire, or at least I wish I'd made a better job of it. Despite this, this picture remains one of my favourites.
