Dragon Flight

Sky and central rock formation airbrushed using liquid acrylics. Dragon, foreground rocks and light cloud formations hand painted. Of all my paintings, this is my favourite. In almost every case, there is something I'm unhappy with in the finished article but not in this one.

I really enjoy building a sky using an airbrush. It's great to see it coming to life as you create layer upon layer. It's so easy to overcook it, but when it comes together like this one the satisfaction is enormous.
