George and the Dragon

Based on the English legend of George and the Dragon, but in this case with a little twist. For his deeds, George was made patron saint of England. © - 1994.

I was really please with George on his flying steed, but disappointed with the dragon. The head in particular is neither large enough or fierce enough. Yet another concept that I may redo when I have the time or the inclination.

For the most part, my pen sketches are designed to be just that. However, I like the design of this so much, I'd like to re-create it in full colour someday and include improvements to the dragon while I'm at it.
