Main Gallery

This gallery contains mostly fantasy images done in acrylics and dating back to the mid 1980s. Inspiration for these comes from many different sources but most are taken straight out of my imagination

Although I started out using watercolour paint, I've always tended to mix media. This is particularly true when I got my first airbrush. I never found watercolour would spray very well. For a while I used transparent inks, but they tend not to be permanent. Coupled with my desire for a more 'solid' feel to my work I moved on to gouache and acrylics. Acrylics are now my preferred choice - they have the opaqueness of gouache and oils but you can still use watercolour techniques with them. The pictures in this gallery effectively represent what I would consider to be my preferred style.

Apart from 'Homeward Bound' and 'The Weird Sisters' which were private commissions, I still retain all of the original images you see below. If you like what you see and would like to own an original, make me a sensible offer and I'll consider it.
